However, this can be dangerous if not done correctly. We will discuss the dangers of DIY teeth whitening and how to avoid them.

Teeth Sensitivity

If you have sensitive teeth, it is best to consult your dentist before using any at-home kit. Bleaching is the process of lightening your teeth by a few shades. It uses hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide, which are bleaching agents. These agents can cause tooth sensitivity and pain when used in high concentrations.
